SENIOR FIELD ENGINEER - METROBANK (DECEMBER 2010 - JULY 2015)
- Performs timely installation, setup, maintenance, troubleshooting and replacement (where needed) of endpoint infrastructure
- Performs timely rollout and deployment of endpoint software
- Reports common causes of IT equipment malfunction and failure, and recommends appropriate preventive measures.
- Performs testing and evaluation of new endpoint infrastructure
- Accurately updates ITG’s records in relation to his engineering tasks and workload, e.g. service tickets, IT asset records, etc.
- On an adhoc basis, supervises a group of junior field engineers on major engineering activities like major deployments.
- Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time
ITG SERVICE DESK - METROBANK (JANUARY 2008 - DECEMBER 2010)
- Provide first-level support for production-related incidents and problem management through analysis of the trends of incidents
- Manage and Escalate reported IT incidents
- Manage and coordinate war room for incidents and the communication disseminated, and incident reports.
- Drive the resolution of production incidents and problems
- Create, update and implement IT policies and procedures, including IT-specific responsibilities in business continuity and disaster recovery, by applying industry standards and best practices
- Lead and manage the recovery strategy, location and regular testing for the bank
- Prepare monthly report for the monthly performance of the department
