EVENT BRIEF
I.
Name of Event Team
KA-VOGUE is an events management team formed by a BS Tourism Management student
of Ateneo de Naga University with the primary goal of managing, organizing, processing
and operating events that will showcase the value of professionalism, commitment,
creativity, ethical, unity, excellence in quality and service. It aims to establish a good relation
and connection to different people.
KA is a Filipino word which means "you". You are unbeatable, unconquerable and
unsurpassable. Models come in all shapes and sizes, embrace your flaws and show your true
colors. Hooks the eye of the people and makes the paparazzi follow and be curious about
you. VOGUE represents the stylish, sophisticated, confidence and enthusiasm of every man
and woman in regards to their sense of style and their sense of fashion. Fashion dominates
our daily lives as it affects how we dress, how we see others, and most of all it affects how
we see ourselves, how comfortable we are in our own skin.
The team's name KA-VOGUE was taken from the word "Unkabogable''. A very catchy
Flipino slang that enables to attract attention and impress the people with confidence. This
is the name chosen for this event team because it aims to make, style, design and organize a
showy yet attractive display. Furthermore, it also aims to listen and practice the art of
networking.
II.
Logo
The theme of the logo used colors of Violet And white.
Violet, A color that inspires reflection and self-awareness. The event team perceives the color of the
Violet as the color of spirituality. It stimulates the imagination and inspires high ideals. It is a
reflective color, which allows an individual to get in touch with their own more profound thoughts
and understanding of their own self.
White is synonymous with positivity. Seeing the color white promotes optimism and provides people
with hope. As delicate as it is elegant, white exudes beauty and grace. Most commonly associated
with good things, white has a favorable reputation. In fact, it’s thought to have a heavenly presence.
White doesn’t threaten or endanger, and it loves making others feel good. With its uplifting spirit
and encouraging essence, white excels at making everyone feel appreciated and valued. The team
believes that judgment and harsh criticism are things one never receives from the color white. It
gives a feeling of cleanliness, purity and perfection. Just like the motive of the event team “KAVOGUE”, it is our aim to offer an individual a room for their growth and strength. White
understands how difficult it can be to embark on this journey of self-exploration, which is why we
offer patience and guidance with a helping hand from the color white, the team KA-VOGUE
believes that we can blossom into our higher selves.
The logo contains the energy and strength of different colors of violet And white to create a balance
between one's physical and mental energy. Just like the violet color in the logo, the event team “KAVOGUE'' aims to help people who are looking for the meaning of life and spiritual fulfillment of
celebrating their own skin.

Tagline
"Be Glamorously Beautiful" the tagline states to build self confidence in those people who are preceded
by shyness and insecurities afterwards regret not doing it because they know they could do it. It
takes courage to leave outside the comfort zone and face the different challenges and expectations
of society. Open for all the possible development and improvement, dare to take a risk. Be brave
and beautiful, for a single step could make a huge difference and progress. To be glamorously
beautiful doesn't mean you have to be a glitterati, but it is having certain confidence in yourself to
face any situation with style and grace.
EVENT VISION
KA-VOGUE: Be Glamorously Beautiful
(Fashion Show)
Gymnasium Xavier Hall, Ateneo de Naga University
May 18, 2021
A. RATIONALE
Fashion is one of the most influential phenomenon trends in this generation especially in the tourism
industry where it shows a person/tourist confidently wearing all kinds of style for a particular
destination and session. Fashion clothes aren’t just a piece of fabric that are sewn together, but are
clothes that tell a story. It showcases the traditions, cultures and history of one’s place by wearing
the clothes that are locally made including its materials. It is also a form of self-expression. Fashion
is a combination of art, pop culture, parody, high fashion, old and new, natural and synthetic to
make magical designs.
Fashion Tourism establishes a good relationship and connection to different people that offers a
room for development, growth and strength. It includes originality and creativity of designers that
are being showcased in a fashion show with stage platforms or formal events center. It is meant for
viewers and guests to have the sense of mood and appreciation of the creative outcomes of these
trends. Fashion shows are divided in different categories depending on the collection and variation
of clothes. Models are the people who are tasked to wear and walk the designer items and at the
same time to promote the originality of the product that could be sold to the guests in the fashion
show. Through this, it forms more interests and recognition of what fashion is and how much
importance it has in society.
The event was entitled “KA-VOGUE: Be Glamorously Beautiful”. The aim of this event is to
showcase the native and cultural aspects through clothing with a story. It is believed that fashion
shows are just meant for seeing original designs, but it really gives an impression of what and how
these clothes were designed. For that, a native and cultural themed fashion will be shown to give
awareness to people about different cultures presented through fashion. Fashion shows are one way
to help people better understand and appreciate the different cultures we have in the Philippines. At
the same time it is a fun and entertaining event. We also wanted to cut the stereotype that beautiful
women are the only ones being accepted as a model, but we need to come together to respect and
appreciate those confident people showing that having imperfections is not a bad thing.
The event highlights its originality and real to life concepts of cultures and natives. It will contribute
to the events done in the city as one of the unique and interesting activities wherein groups of people
and students from different schools are welcomed to watch and provide different fashion statements
for them. It’s purpose is to once again introduce cultures’ fashion and beauty especially for the new
generation.
B. OBJECTIVES
KA-VOGUE: Be Glamorously Beautiful aims to:
● Showcase the culture and traditions of the locality to a new set of eyes.
● Give exposure to the designers and spread their work.
● Showcase the models and give them exposure to the public.
● Display the latest fashion trends to the people who are interested in the fashion industry.
● Promote and showcase the culture through its fashion.
● Establish and Create possible connections with the designers, models, organizers, and
audience in the hope of future collaborations and partnerships.
In 2021 people often use brands from abroad, brands like ZARA, H&M, Uniqlo, Forever 21, Gucci,
Givenchy. Louis Vuitton, Dior, Chanel. People rarely see brands from their own local area, if there
are any left. With this we plan to create an events where we can gather all the designers from within

our attention, we need to deal
with it.
● Deal directly with the culprit.
When we need to address
rudeness, talk to the offender
somewhere private. Stay calm
and objective as we outline the
facts as we know them, explain
the negative impact of his or her
behavior and how it made other
people feel, and make it clear
how we want him to modify his
behavior.
● Listen. The offender may think
that she had good reason to be
annoyed with
somebody or
something, and her rudeness
was just a reaction to that. So,
while making it clear that her
behavior was unacceptable, give
her an opportunity to explain
what triggered it.
● Follow up on any offender. By all
means, take the offender's point
of view into account, but we
have to make it absolutely clear
that we don't want a repeat of his
words or actions. If, as part of
our solution, we set him targets
or standards of behavior, make
sure that he achieves them. If he
doesn't mend his ways, then we
should consider firmer action.
Discuss the situation with the
event head and security, and
look at using formal warnings or
even, as a last resort, letting him
go out of the venue.

who will be participating.
● Every attendee counts,
it’s a good idea to send
out reminder emails the
week,
day,
and
hour
before our event is due to
take place. This way, we
can remind attendees of
all the important details to
avoid dropout. It also
provides a way for them to
let us know if they can’t
make it, giving us a
chance
to
sell
more
tickets or consult our
back-up attendee list. We
might
also

to
encourage
attendance and donate
the proceeds to charity.

fire exit doors are and
confirm they are open,

doors, check both.
● Prepare for Fires. Know
where fire extinguishers
and fire pull alarms are.
Check to see if the fire
extinguishers are
charged. Make sure all
decor items, linens and
draping are fire-proof or
have retardant. If you are
renting the materials,
make sure their
certificates are current.
● Clear the Way. Check
aisles for obstructions
such as cables, signs and
computer bags. Make
sure all wires are tapped
down securely on the
stage and floors,
especially if cables need
to cross a doorway.
Check all flooring for pits
and fissures that can
catch a high heel. Make
sure the stage has no
gaps and that stairs are
securely attached to the
stage, and mark the stairs
with a bright tape on the
edges. Also, mark the
stairs’ location on the
stage with tape so
someone exiting off the
stage can find the stairs
easily.
● Prepare for a Direct
Evacuation. Selfevacuation usually does
not work. Assign team
members or hired staff to
direct the attendees into
predefined gathering
areas. Check with the
venue or the fire marshal
where these gathering
areas should be. Prepare
written instructions
telling the attendees
where to go if a disaster
occurs. Write these up
and give it to the
announcer or VOG so the
audience can be
instructed where to go
and remain calm. (VOG,
is an acronym for “voice
of God,” and is used by
event professionals in
referring to an unseen
event announcer.)
● Prepare a medical
emergency plan.
