I am Nicole Bornales. I am a student majoring in Tourism Management at the prestigious Ateneo De Naga University. Being an Atenean, I was nurtured to leave my home equipped and ready for whatever awaits me in the outside world of life. It is in the corners of the catholic school where I discover myself, hone my most incredible talents and develop my abilities in the hands of Ignatian tradition and pedagogy, which I believe molds and qualifies me to become a future leader, a builder, and a catalyst of progress in the community.
This industry incorporates many of the same principles as the hospitality industry. Both are all about providing efficient, effective and attentive customer service. Consequently, excellent communication skills, patience and a friendly nature are essential for one to thrive in these industries. And I believe I have manifested those characteristics. Aside from that, my alma mater is a Catholic and Jesuit educational institution that formed me to become an individual who has an intimate and faithful relationship with Christ, competent in every aspect, compassionate with others, with a well-formed conscience, and commitment to serve. I am taught to incorporate “magis” or excellence in life to contribute to shifting an ad-hoc problem-solving culture to nurture a long-lasting mindset of change and growth. I believe having such a personality will be beneficial to your company. I am
goal-oriented, flexible, Visionary, determined and faithful. I have faith in my own capabilities that I can do something, overcome my self-doubt and have confidence to take action and get things done. I recognize my ability to accomplish targets and be optimistic about the future as I set goals and achieve them.
Also, I am a very patient person, capable of dealing with irate and demanding people. Aside from being determined, I can think out of the box, so I have exceptional problem-solving skills. I am a fast learner and have good communication skills. I can justify my self-assertion that I can compete at best level and still be productive. I am flexible enough to cope up with the fast changing world and be open to new perspectives in the market of ideas. I am comfortable and confident in myself. And lasts but not the least, I can take criticisms as tools for self-improvement since I am longing and hungry and always looking to be more, do more and wanting to make a difference in a big way.
