I’m a computational neuroscientist and biologist who turns complex ideas into useful, reproducible models of (artificial and spiking) neural networks, with complementary experience in neuromorphic computing/engineering. Over 10+ years at the University of Oslo, RIKEN, University of Nottingham, and Adelaide University, I’ve built HPC-scale biophysical simulations using NEURON and MATLAB pipelines, set up robust benchmarks, and led projects from conception to publication while mentoring collaborators. I’m comfortable translating results for both engineers and biologists. Backed by EU Marie Curie and ARC Discovery funding and recognized as a 2023 BioMed-X Challenge finalist.
