Nick Ian Gemar

I am Nick Ian Gemar, a not social but optimistic person from Siquijor Island. I am part of the DICT Training program right now and it really gives me warm thoughts that now I am with the people with same passion as me so I want to be more expressive about my skills and I want to lay down all my relating sensory on this opportunity. 

I grew up with my grandparents and I remember myself drowning in love with colors and cartoons and I told myself that someday I will collaborate myself with it. When I was in Highschool I always grab the chance of being a free model where people will let me pose something related to power and heroics and then they will edit it, making me as a hero on my own story. I was just watching them edit my pictures and I manifest into myself that I will strive hard and someday I will be the one who will edit someone’s picture. And that motivation bring me into where I am today. 

I graduated Senior High School taking my dream course Information and Computer Technology Major in Programming. And I also got a certificate of NC III in Visual Graphics. And that’s the start of my journey as a Graphic Designer. After I graduated I work at 1820 TwoPrints in Siquijor and that’s where I hastened more my knowledge and understanding about Visual Artists. Right now I am an employed contractual worker at LGU Siquijor Assessor’s Office but I will enlightened when I hear about this program so I didn’t waste any seconds on taking the exam and praying that I will be part of the people who will passed the test. And luckily here I am today surviving and thriving hard for my skills and dreams. **
