My name is Nicholas Jacobson, and I recently graduated from college, where I earned my bachelor's degree in computer science. Also, I want to go back to college and get a masters degree in computer science some day. I have had an internship before, but other than that my experience in computer science comes from high school and college. As such, I would be better suited for an entry, or intermediate level position.
I would prefer to work from home, but if I would be willing to come in to work if the location was near either Austin, or Dallas Texas.
I have experience in object oriented languages, and SQL. However, I am eager to learn more about computer science as a whole, so I would be excited, not intimidated, to start a job that I don't have previous experience in (otherwise how would I grow as an individual?).
Additionally, I live with my father currently, and he has 30+ years of experience as a SQL developer (primarily as a data modeler). This is relevant information, because my father can help me out with my job, by answering my coding questions and reviewing my work. If you hire me, then it is like you're getting two for the price of one, as my father will play a "mentor" type of role.
Aside from my fathers' experience, and my own experience in computer science, I also have life experiences and personality traits that make me a good fit for virtually any position. I am an Eagle scout, I attended Texas boys state, and I played sports for most of my life. These are all experiences that have helped to evolve my character. I am a good listener, a fair leader, a clear communicator, a hard worker, and a fast learner, and if you think I would be a good fit for what you need, then I give you my word that you won't regret it.
Thank you so much for considering me,
Nicholas Jacobson
