My name is Newton Kinyua, a passionate and self-driven mobile developer, musician, and tech entrepreneur based in Nairobi, Kenya. With a strong interest in artificial intelligence and digital innovation, I’ve spent the last few years building skills and gaining experience in software development, data annotation, and digital business.
I’m the founder of Mobimind Development Company, a growing tech initiative through which I design and build mobile applications, offer freelancing services, and develop tailored digital solutions for clients. I’ve had the privilege of contributing to the development of platforms like geniusmastertip.com, where I was involved in both website development and early-stage AI data annotation, helping improve machine learning models through accurate and efficient labeling.
My passion for AI led me to dive deep into the world of data — not just code. I’ve worked on various annotation tasks, gaining a strong understanding of how machine learning systems learn from human input. I enjoy combining logic, precision, and creativity — a mix that defines both my tech work and my music.
Outside of development, I’m also active in entrepreneurship. I sell health products (madawa) as part of my hustle, which has taught me business resilience and the importance of community trust. My experience is not limited to tech alone — I also interned briefly at Embu Children Hospital – Tenri, which added a layer of compassion and discipline to my work ethic.
I’m continuously learning, adapting, and growing in the ever-evolving tech world. Whether I’m building an app, writing beats, or brainstorming a startup idea, I’m always driven by purpose, curiosity, and the will to create something meaningful.
Currently, I’m open to new opportunities in freelancing, remote work, and collaborations in tech or creative projects. I’m particularly excited about projects that intersect mobile development, AI, and social impact.
