I'm a strategic Credit Control and Accounting professional with over 9 years of experience in providing leadership in managing business risk by driving credit control and collections operations while strengthening credit and risk policies and ensuring compliance to established standards and regulations.

Recognized for increasing the company’s profit, reducing bad accounts and fortifying the credit policies. To cut down bad accounts, I formulate polices and control measures that address problems on customers’ delayed payments and total abandonment of accounts. In order to strengthen credit policies, I religiously monitor the credit processes and ensure all credit guidelines are adhered to.

☛ Significantly trimmed outstanding branch premium from KES 700M (2015) to KES 300M in 2019, and renegotiated debtor days from 90 days to 55 days.

☛ Reduced Ageing book from $2M to $500k FY 2022

☛ Reduced Bad debts provision from $700k to $150k FY 2022.

☛ Slashed debt down to KES 50M from KES 100M and escalated problem accounts to profit center managers, and defaulting accounts to legal department and debt collectors.
