Developed and implemented the new procedure for Movable Property Security Registration after the Act came into effect. Implemented a new access system to the Bank collateral strong room by introducing biometric access for the two security custodians. This meant that no single custodian would get access to the strong room alone. This resolved a recurrent audit issue where there was non-adherence to the Bank’s dual access requirement. Reorganized the departmental structure and increased the headcount thus making work-life balance a reality. Did a collateral assessment for the securities held by Jamii Bora Bank during the take-over of the bank by Commercial Bank of Africa Limited in 2018.
