programme, the ini al focus was crea ng Agile teams to shadow the exis ng vendor’s teams with a full

Azure for data storage and applica on hos ng. In parallel, the delivery methodology was adapted to
increase velocity of features by 35% and deliver change for the business teams and Product Owners. In

was created with the mandate to rede ne the delivery methodology to be u lised for all new and exis ng
clients within 10x. Process improvements and changes to how governance, risks management and repor ng
was immediately introduced. In parallel, the delivery team and artefacts were streamlined, reducing

Following the acquisi on of BSKYB by Comcast in 2019, a new genera on of in-home connected devices

through to opera onal readiness and launch. Working closely with engineering and product leads a team
was created to successfully deliver with an emphasis on empowering the team to make decisions, ensuring
the highest quality of product and service was made available to the client. This included guiding the team
away from Waterfall to an Agile methodology with full automa on tes ng setup from a previously manual
approach and CI/CD in place to support faster deployments to produc on. Weekly repor ng extended from
Director level to CTO and CPO. The rst launch was Sky Italia in August 20 and was delivered on me and to

less customer or unexpected reboots performed and the lowest number of technical defects opened with
the quickest closure rates. The delivery approach including governance and repor ng was adopted by all
new projects within broadband and connected living teams in Sky UK and Sky Italia. I was Promoted to Head

be de ned and implemented. Based on the requirements and solu on, automa on tes ng was selected as
the appropriate approach using Cucumber and Ruby with Github and Jenkins used as the repository and
scheduling respec vely. The nature of the project also required a substan al focus on non-func onal
performance and failover tes ng, which was automated using iPerf. The project is now live with no reported

Migra on of TUK (O2 and BE) broadband and telephony services. Sky acquired 500k customers across the

minimal churn. In order to achieve these goals, migra ons would need to complete with aggressively high
volumes and therefore the quality of tes ng and trial phases would have a signi cant bearing on its success.
The role required de ni on and implementa on of the Test and Trial Strategy to include full E2E quality
