I have a PhD in physical chemistry and a bachelor's in biology. I worked as a math textbook author. I have many years of experience teaching. Recently, I am learning about AI and LLM to apply to my theoretical chemistry research. My research is in electronic structure calculations. This involves modeling reactions to determine products, reaction pathways, transition states, and thermodynamics. My goal is to apply graphical neural networks to reactions of interest. I am also currently working on a renewable carbon engineering project. Although I have extensive STEM training, I am very comfortable teaching people of all ages. As an undergraduate student, I worked as an Applied Behavioral Analyst therapist. I provided therapy to young children with autism to cure them of developmental delay. This taught me how to break down learning into more steps than a neurotypical person would ever imagine. This was very useful to my future teaching in chemistry, math, and English as an additional language. I pay close attention to detail. I have high standards for the quality of my work. I enjoy learning, teaching, and doing a good job.
