Nancy Salamba

I am a multi-skilled and talented individual that is visionary, driven by purpose and not afraid to try new things. I have held leadership positions in various sectors and markets requiring fast learning, adaptability and flexibility. 

I currently run my own consultancy firm, Two Fish Consulting where I work with Individuals, Organizations or partner with other Consultancies to provide relevant solutions. I am an experienced Marketing and Communications Practitioner and have worked in Sales, Strategy Development and Implementation, Product Development, Training and also a certified Leadership Coach with the Academy of Executives Coaches (AoEC) and a certified Entrepreneurship Trainer with the International Labour Organization (ILO).

My experience of working in and with diverse teams across various units and markets resulted in collaboration, high consultancy and leadership skills and driving delivery. I have demonstratable qualities and abilities in the areas of team leadership, teamwork, stakeholder engagement, establishing innovative programs and/or initiatives, strategy development and implementation. I am a strategic and creative thinker, who is hands on, solutions oriented and adopts a “can do” attitude and mindset in everything I do.

I have worked on and build brands for the last 25 years with majority of those years spent in the financial services sector marketing and promoting products and services that enable individuals and businesses to achieve their lives goals. I have applied an entrepreneurial while in the Corporate and started new lines of businesses for the financial organization I worked. I developed Value Propositions that made business sense, sold those to the board and got approvals and budgets for implementation. A notable one was launching a Women's financial proposition for the bank and also proposing and setting up the banks' Foundation.

My perspective and journey has been shaped by 31 years of work and life experiences gained from Publishing, Creative/Advertising Industry, Financial Services Sector and Government within the Africa markets of East, West and South Africa. I have also worked out of South Africa and Nigeria. Majority of my working years have been in Kenya where I was born, raised and based. I am also widely travelled.

I also worked within the public sector, and in the office I was, I drove strategy development and implementation, stakeholder management including engagement with key partners in Government, Donor Agencies, Non-Governmental Organizations and Private Sector. I was also responsible for organizing, managing and running meetings at all levels; from local, international and even State engagements. I oversaw all Communications for and from the Office.

I am driven, pays attention to detail, big on execution, achieving set goals and results oriented. You can count on me to get the job done.
