ABOUT ME:
I hold a bachelor´s degree in education arts (Language and Religion) from Kenyatta University with experience in teaching, writing, researching, and editing fiction and non-fiction texts. As a freelancer, I have written newsletters, monthly blogs, social media captions, website copy for various clients. I have also worked as a publisher for Longhorn and Spotlight Publishers (Kenya and East Africa) where I helped with both developmental editing of manuscripts received from authors and also copy editing of the manuscripts after lay out was done by graphic designers. Through Upwork, I have helped self-publishing authors to edit their books for consistency, flow, factual errors, sentence structures and flow, grammar, syntax and many more. Due to my attention to detail and timely submission of quality work, I have managed to get 5-star reviews from clients and have some of them for long-term engagements. Duties and Responsibilities
Content writer. Researching and writing content on various topics as instructed by my clients. Some of the content I wrote was for websites, blogs, social media captions, LinkedIn bios, newsletters, about pages, FAQs.
Copywriting. I helped a client develop copy that was meant to help her gain some traction into her page through hooks and Call to Action phrases.
Developmental and copy editing. I helped a client edit and shape her book (more like being a Beta reader) which was focused on succeeding in business while practicing Christianity at the same time.
Formatting and proofreading manuscript.
Ghostwriting children’s storybooks for a client.

Visiting and interviewing different groups (youth, men and women) that benefitted from the projects-GIRL, Gum Arabica, REAP, YES! and BMUs in different wards within Lodwar.
Fact-finding from beneficiaries on the impacts the projects brought to them.
