I hold bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Technology and am ISTQB Certified tester with 5.6 years of professional experience.

My professional experience includes 5+ years with SAP Labs Pvt ltd, where I performed as integrated developer and Software tester on various products of SAP Solution Manager. Hence I understand the complete working knowledge of SDLC and STLC. I worked in agile environment following all the structured scrum processes.

I have mastered the documentation skill along with graphical representations of the functions/modules.  I co-ordinate with the product Owner, Team manager and scrum master to generate the complete User requirement documents for the project to be developed and released. We finalize the entry and exit criteria during User Acceptance testing for project which would help us to determine the start and end of the project.

I would prepare the detailed functional requirement documents which includes analysis of the requirements and design of the test plan and test strategies. Non Functional Requirements such as Performance, Usability, Scalability, Globalization etc. which has to be achieved are also mentioned in the requirement document as the finish criteria for the project at this phase. My extensive knowledge in TAM diagram helped me create several Activity diagram, Flow diagram and sequence diagram for each new functions which had to be developed for the project as well as for old legacy functional modules. These flow charts were included in the Software Design documents to describe each modules. The requirements are further broken down into user stories. These user Stories/Agile epics of the QA team are detailed description of the requirement testing which are to be picked and executed during the sprint.

At SAP once the Business requirements are provided by stakeholders and finalized by the product owner.  I would create the Requirement traceability matrix to make sure all the Functional requirements with the respective business requirements are covered which are testable. Once the matrix is finalized the test scenarios are generated with detailed test procedures for each of the functional requirements. Test cases with the pre-conditions, input, expected output are generated at this point of STLC which had to be updated continuously and maintained in the GTP and JIRA. I was responsible for test coverage report and Test Status report which had be maintained for each project to be reviewed.

 As we worked under agile environment we had to continuously deliver the stable software iteratively agreed upon for that particular cycle by adhering to all the scrum methodologies. We had continuous discussion with our stakeholders for suggestions and inputs for better quality product. I am responsible for managing both the development and test environment and platform which includes system requirement, test data and test process.  During the test cycle of each sprint I would carry out the Functional Testing, Stress testing, Non-functional Testing, Regression testing, User Interface Testing, User Acceptance testing, System Integration Testing, and browser testing. Suggested the team to follow the Exploratory testing which helped the team to yield the quality product to be released during each cycle.

My experience at SAP provided me Global Connect to work with Cross functional teams across the Globe including USA, Germany and India. This also provided me the stakeholder management perspective to the job role. During the maintenance phase of the product, being first Point of contact (POC) addressed any open issues to support the stake holders either by providing them the consultation or help them in receiving the fix provided by the developers.

My experience also includes working as the Manual Quality Assurance Engineer foran US based organization named Evolution Finance Inc. (WalletHub) in finance domain. My job responsibilities included providing QA support to desktop and hand-held devices. On a day to day role, I created and executed test scenarios, test cases, test data etc. to make a structured QA plan for the applications on a time bound environment. In this project, the challenges I tackled are understanding the intricacy of Finance domain and quickly adopting myself to testing parameters which are crucial for the functionality of Mobile and web applications to cater the Customers/End Users.
