Naman Srivastava

I am a passionate person who wants to follow his dream. I started programming at the age of 11 and now i can say that i am proficient in programming techniques especially Python. I have organized events at class level, community level and Institute level. Starting from debate competitions, elocutions to being the Student President of Enactus DEI, a non-profit, I learnt a lot from my mistakes. Being the organizer of TEDxAgraCollege exposed me to a wider audience and enhanced my leadership, planning and strategic skills. Leading a large team and handing them out certificates bearing my signature was a great feeling. With over 1700 connections (many of them are CXOs, Founders, brilliant people at MIT, etc) on LinkedIn in just a year i have learnt to utilize my connections for meaningful tasks.

Currently I am determined to start an Entrepreneurship cell at my institute and be the Founding President. I am the lead coordinator of Training and Placement cell and that has helped me to stay in touch with the alumnus of my institute. With all these extra-curricular my grades are still well XD. I have maintained above 8 SGPA which will be useful in getting a Honors degree. My grades are evident of my understanding of computer concepts be it programming, algorithms, data structures etc.

I developed a prototype of AVIS – a hoverboard which was selected by the University for funding. Out of 459 entries only 14 were selected. The journey from this point took me to places – meeting with like-minded people, investors, startups etc.

Apart from academics i write poetry and prose, many of which have been appreciated by my mentor Prof. Agam Prasad Mathur who is a senior fellow of the Royal Society of London. I am an avid reader. Non-fiction is my first choice. The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri, Meditations by Aurelius, Prince by Machiavelli are the finest works I have read.    

I want to pursue coding and management jobs and rise over time to higher

positions.
