Career Summary
I have about 11 years experience of IT industry in Telecom Domain and was working as Senior Consultant at British Telecom. During
my career, I have performed multiple roles in different capacities from Solution Architect, E2E Solution Designer, In-life Solution Designer,
Process Designer, Business Analyst, and Test Analyst to Test Lead.
With proficiency in E2E Solution Design, Requirement Gathering, producing specifications documents, designing/upgrading processes,
producing technical designs (HLDs), collaborating with development teams to implement quality software and E2E Black Box test
Management, I have experience of working in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle-SDLC both Agile as well as Waterfall model.
Domain wise, I have rich experience of Telecom domain working on transformation projects in the industry to help clients move from their
legacy systems to strategic stack. I have worked at client location at London for 2 years working with business and client representatives and

May 2017–June 2019: Portfolio Architect for T2R Stack for Business & Public Sector (B&PS) LOB of BT

B&PS is the strategic stack built for BT’s Small and Medium Enterprise Telecommunication needs. I am working on this
project as Portfolio Architect for T2R (Trouble to Resolve) Stack.
As a Portfolio Architect I set up reusable Architectural/Design Patterns for the Assurance (T2R) stack which is compliant to BT’s
Enterprise Architectural Principles.
With the view & Understanding of the overall stack involving more than 20 different systems (components), I produce the design
Estimates – Rough Order Magnitude (ROM) for every business requirement ahead of the design commencement.
As part of Architectural compliance, I interact with other portfolio & product architects to ensure that their design patterns are
consistent & reusable so that the T2R stack can seamlessly support the new products & requirements.
As part of design assurance activity my job is to ensure that the team of designers working on the solution designs complies with
established design patterns & architectural principles.

Feb 2012–Feb 2015: Business Analyst (CE Lead) & Process Designer for British Telecom (BT’s) LOB-UK Business (UKB)

This was a transformational project of implementing a strategic stack called as UKBSS (UK Business Strategic Stack), for UKB.
I was responsible for gathering, analyzing & managing UKB’s software requirements for broadband and VAS products and produce
robust process designs to build and enhance the software stack.
Formulated designs to launch important products (BB, Office365, Webhosting, Domain, Antivirus) onto the online portal in the Lead
to Cash (L2C) area in clients’ endeavor to bring 10 million customers online, thereby reducing the cost incurred in Manual processes.
Used Industry standard tool OracleBPA11.0g and ARIS to produce process designs and STORM to capture and refine the requirements.
Worked in conjunction with BT business and strategy team to analyze the business benefits and the technical feasibility of the
requirements.
Worked with software design and development teams to ensure that the business requirements are translated into code compliant to the
stack architecture.

March 2011–Feb2012: E2E Solution Designer for BT Business (BTB)-T2R-Assurance

The project dealt with implementing the online fault reporting mechanism (T2R) for BT Business and I worked as E2E
Solution designer in the project. The project was aimed at reducing the manual effort by the agents to report the fault and to give easy access
and updates to the fault reporting process to customers online.
As a Solution Designer I was instrumental in design and launch of T2R capabilities like fault reporting and fault tracking for the products
like PSTN, Broadband, VAS etc on BT.COM/business – the official business website of BT.
As an End to End Technical Designer, I was completely accountable to build the stable and robust designs (HLDs) as per the stack
architecture.
I managed a team of designers who were working for other journeys in online area. I was the single point of contact for business in T2R
area in Online Space.
In this capacity I interacted with business, the stack architects to produce standard & reusable designs, component designers & developers
to know the components and test analysts and test engineers to ensure the correctness of implementation hence covering the full range of
SDLC.
Used tools like Storm for requirement and design traceability. VISIO to produce flows and SharePoint to manage the designs.

February2010–March2011: Data Analyst & In-life E2E Solution Designer in BT Retail
Employer: Infosys Ltd; Location: Mysore; Org Designation: Associate Consultant
Worked as E2E in-life solution designer and Data analyst for L2C Stack of BT Retail which serves consumers across UK.
The role involved Data analysis and proposing designs and consultation with business to formulate strategy to improve the performance of
the systems in the stack. The project aimed at reducing the number of L2C (Sales) orders which do not meet Customer Agreed Date (CAD)
thereby impacting the index called as RFT (Right First Time).
Entirely accountable for Data analysis and investigation of the report generated by Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) dashboard and
to produce a detailed Root Cause analysis (RCA) on the same.
The role also demanded to propose design solutions for the defects found to improve the performance of the system and to prevent
further fallouts.
Serving in this capacity I also dealt with the Application Support groups (ASGs), Developers & designers to understand the root cause of
the problem while consulting with the business stakeholders to understand the expectations.

November 2009–Feb 2010: Test Analyst in Openreach (OR)

I worked as a test analyst in CVF (Customer Validation Facility) project which dealt with providing support to the
communication providers (CPs) who were validating the functionality provided by the Openreach (an infrastructure unit of BT) and also
performing validations on behalf of the CPs acting as proxy CPs.
I worked as a T2R (Trouble To Resolve) specialist in this project giving support and consultancy to the CPs who were validating the T2R
functionality provided by Openreach. In this capacity I have also acted as a consultant to the CPs to produce new requirements in
alignment with the designs offered by the Openreach.
Understanding the CPs requirement, Validating and signing-off their test packages and supporting their analysis & queries were part of
my work in this project.

July 2006–November 2009: Test Lead in Openreach (OR)

Worked as Test engineer and was promoted to Test Lead in this project. The project dealt with validating the
functionalities designed by Openreach which would then be consumed by CPs. Lead a team size of 16 members in this capacity which was
responsible for validating and sign-off of the T2R segment of the work stack.
Responsible in understanding and analyzing the requirement to produce test strategy, test planning, test scenarios and test case writing.
Was also accountable for preparing for test environments and code deployments onto the environment to facilitate the testing.
Leading the team to the successful test planning, execution and sign-off were the main part of the work.
I have also worked as defect manager in this tenure, responsible to ensure the conclusive closure of the defect.
