Mureaux Tolentino

I am an enthusiastic college (4th year, Veterinary Medicine) dropout who also has an active role in our church's activities, mainly focusing on managing and participating in the praise and worship team and the video editing team. I also have experience and knowledge in numerous fields such as journalism, theater acting, choir, and Veterinary Medicine related activities such as veterinary clinic nurse/ assistant, and carabao farm steward. 

These experiences forged my perception as I would always prefer to talk with the managers of the workplace to get a better scope on how to best help with my abilities. I often prefer to manage myself and my team to get the most experience on any task in front of us while preventing us from overexerting ourselves and being more prone to making mistakes. On the few instances when everyone is unfamiliar with the tasks, I boldly take on the challenge of leadership as I am confident in my abilities to minimize the drawbacks and downsides of any mistakes that may occur due to our lack of experience in the specific tasks.

These actions of mine have caused some of my past colleagues to view me as a stern individual who prioritizes progress and productivity over personal enjoyment. Though I believe that progress in the right direction, especially when directly impacting a certain sector of people, gives everyone a certain level of satisfaction that thwarts any 15-minute gag to show off to someone.

Ultimately, even given my current situation, I still aspire to make changes that matter. To participate in the community, sustain what is great about it, and improve upon the lesser things, so that the people may reach new heights in our society that benefits everyone.
