Technology and Infrastructure Change | Dec 2016 – Dec 2017: In partnership with GEICO’s Underwriting, Sales and
Claims Directors, I have managed huge technology and infrastructure shift program of 7 Underwriting Applications
(Mainframe to .Net Technology Platform on Azure Cloud). This was a very large and high visibility program for
GEICO setting bar for company’s futuristic vision for technology shift and establishment of cloud architecture
with more than 15M budget. These applications are core to GEICO’s Auto Insurance Business and have very high
visibility across its Sales, Service, Claims, Commercials and Underwriting regions. This role require close coordination
with internal and external stakeholders (50 state DMVs, Field Offices, LexisNexis, Cisco), project governance adherence,
release management, infrastructure management, vendor management and resource management in an onshoreoffshore model. Established a new DevOps infrastructure with multiple niche technology offerings from
Microsoft, Atlassion, ServiceNow, JIRA and SonarQube. Ensured detailed preparation and execution of development
and test plans (including coordination of internal GEICO departments and field offices, external agencies and State
DMVs), release plans, performance review plans for Azure cloud, and back out plan without impacting GEICO sales.
Adopted hybrid of Iterative Waterfall and Agile methodologies; Created and communicated detailed JIRA
Dashboards, WBS and MS Project Plans.
