PROJECTS
[ 15 Sep 2021 – 7 Jul 2022 ] Final Year Project (Cricket Score Prediction System using Machine Learning)
Cricket is a sport invented in England called a gentleman’s game. Cricket is a game of
uncertainties, and predicting the outcome of the match is very difficult. There is an
emerging field in computer science called machine learning. Machine learning is used for
predictions. There is a lot of research done in sports with forecasts. But there is a special
case where statistics play an important role. When the cricket match is interrupted by the
rain and then again starts during the shortage of time, it is difficult to predict the runs
and overs remaining in that match. To overcome this issue, the Duckworth-Lewis method
has been introduced. In this project, we have figured out the shortcoming of the
Duckworth Lewis method and tried to improve it with Machine Learning by taking
additional features like venue, strike rate, overs, etc. We have done this project to
3/4
automate the results of a match If the Duckworth Lewis method is applied to a match,
then the results come based on prediction rather than by calculating through the
equation.
[ 24 Feb 2022 – 4 Jul 2022 ] EEG-Based Engagement Meter
This project also uses the Muse Head Band and is based on machine learning. This
research endeavor attempts to forecast an adult player's level of focus while engaging in
a game similar to Player Unknown's Battlegrounds. The data representing human brain
impulses is kept in an Excel spreadsheet. Next, in order to forecast the concentration
score, I constructed the prediction model.
