I have consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence, as evidenced by my academic achievements—most notably earning two global ACCA merits in Financial Accounting and Management Accounting, which reflect both my technical proficiency and dedication to the profession.

Over the course of my ACCA studies, I developed a comprehensive understanding of key areas including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), audit and assurance, taxation, financial management, and performance analysis. These theoretical concepts have been reinforced through my practical experience in audit and accounting roles, where I’ve had the opportunity to apply my knowledge in real-world business environments.

In my audit experience, I have worked as part of collaborative teams conducting statutory audits for clients across various sectors, including manufacturing, retail, services, and real estate. My responsibilities have included planning audit engagements, performing risk assessments, conducting substantive testing, and documenting findings in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA). My background in accounting complements my audit experience. I have been actively involved in the preparation of financial statements, management of accounts payable and receivable, bank and intercompany reconciliations, and journal posting. I have also supported month-end and year-end closing procedures, budgeting exercises, and variance analysis. These responsibilities have sharpened my analytical skills and helped me build a clear understanding of how accurate, timely financial information supports strategic decision-making within an organization.

I am proficient in using various accounting and financial tools such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage, and I am highly skilled in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting automation. My ability to adapt to different systems and workflows has enabled me to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity.

Earning merits in Financial Accounting and Management Accounting during my ACCA qualification is a testament to my analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. These subjects required not only a deep grasp of technical content but also the ability to apply concepts critically—skills that have proven invaluable in my professional work, particularly when analyzing financial statements, evaluating cost structures, or assessing financial performance.
