For some years now, I’ve been doing some virtual/remote work and would be keen to expand on that. I’ve done online work including Paid Forum Posting, online blogging, transcription, translation ( Setswana to English and English to Setswana) and proofreading. The remote work I’ve done over the years includes:

 - BTO project - last year I proofread and edited the Botswana Tourism Organisation under immense pressure as they were in a race against time to get the project boxed off in the quickest time possible.

• Remote transcription for a local researcher - I successfully completed transcription work for a researcher based in Botswana, a job that lasted a few months. The researcher was so impressed by my professionalism and efficiency that she has gone on to refer me to some of her colleagues and associates in the research field.

• House hunting and setting up a rental for someone moving to Botswana. 

• Online work - a few years ago when I was between jobs, I started doing jobs via online sites and thoroughly enjoyed it. I did a fair bit of work on Fiverr.com reviewing books, VA work some of which has seen me send postcards and registered letters to enthusiasts around the world. 

• YourBotswana - I’m the proud owner of a blog called YourBotswana. As the name suggests, this is a platform through which we celebrate all Botswana-related stuff. My husband and I run the blog and hope to take it as far as we can. Based on the statistics, we are happy with the progress we’ve made in the 2 short years since we started it.
