(Scored 86.%) PROJECTS HANDLED SO FAR: Project #1 Project Title : Blast Pressure Data Controller and Recorder(BPDCR) Client : HEMRL, Pune. (DRDO) Role : Testing, Co-ordination with customer. Requirement gathering and analysis. Project Planning and Monitoring. SW Architecture Design and reviews. Development of test plans for System Testing & Validation. Hardware : STM32F407IG Software : KEIL v4.54. Responsibilities : Tester Description : BPDCR System is used to analyze the characteristics of a blast pressure sensor. This System operates in Master and Slave mode. Master will control the Slave units through RS422 protocol, monitor the connectivity of the sensor of slave and Collects the captured data from Slave unit and Storing in MASTER. Slave unit having STM32F407 and FPGA programmable devices, acquire the Pressure sensor output by using 12 bit ADC @ 10MHz Rate and stores in SRAM to analyze the characteristics. Analysis can be done in GUI by getting the data from MASTER through Ethernet. Project #2: Project title: WIRELESS EVENT TRANSMITTER and RECEIVER UNIT Environment: STM32F103R8T7 Micro controller,Embedded C,keil compiler. Role: Development of transmitter module Client : HEMRL,Pune Description: This project is to Transmit and Receive data signals through Wireless Transmission by using Zigbee module with Antenna. When signals are transmitted through Zigbee from Transmitter,Receiver receives data using Zigbee module. Transmitter generates and transmits two commands,Power and Control commands with certain delays which are also user selectable. By default commands transfer with certain fixed delay by Instant mode,if user does not select any delays. In this mode, both power and control commands are executed at a time. If user selects certain delay, power command executes in its 5thsec and control command on 0thsec.This delays executions are shown in the 7segment LED display on the Receiver module. My responsibilities in this project include: Requirements specifications capturing & Component selection. Hard ware Development. System Testing & Support to Software Development team. Production support & Design Document preparation. Project #3 Project title : Release Sensing and Arming System(RSAS) Client : TBRL, Chandigarh Role : Testing, Requirement gathering and analysis, Development of test plans for System Testing & Validation Software : MPLAB V8.92. Description: The Release Sense and Interface Unit is a microcontroller based embedded system required for sensing the mechanical release of armament store from the carrier through different electrical and mechanical devices of the armament system and generate necessary command sequence for system arming. Further the RSAS should have provision for setting the necessary parameters manually as well as through RS-422 interface. overall system consists of the two major sections namely Master controller Section (MCS) and Terminal event sequencer (TES). The terminal event sequencer (TES) should not be energized till desired. Hence two independent power sources are to be used for MCS and TES respectively. Project #4 Project Title : Electronic Safe and Arm Device(ESAD) Client : Defence Labs, Dehradun. Role : Developer, Testing Hardware : STM32F407IG. Software : KEIL v4.54 Responsibilities : Firmware and front end development. Description : The Electronic Safe and Arm Device is a microcontroller based embedded system which provides a safe and reliable operation for the initiation of commands on time or impact basis. The programmability of the system is done by using Inductive Sensing Coils both at the Program setter end & at the System Receiver end. The module operates in two modes 1) Time mode and 2) Impact mode. a)The Time mode operates the discrete outputs for the generation of Two Commands at a predefined time. b)In Impact mode, the controller reads the ‘g’(gravity)value from g-sensor and generates output commands on reaching the set threshold ‘g’ value.
