I am a mathematical physicist, a trained text translator, and polyglot. At the moment, I am finishing my doctorate in mathematical aspects of general relativity. I learn languages for fun to the point I can read both novels and technical materials in them. I've made my living using those skills, but my fluency is principally passive-- translating to English and reading. I also have analyzed business data and reviewed and analyzed board games.
