Moses Auta Omori

I am a graduate of Information Sciences from Moi University. I graduated in 2000. I used to write articles for Daily Nation, Standard and People Daily. I worked at College Publishers from September 2000 to May 2002 writing and editing trade journals: Construction Review, Cargo, Hotel Manager and Agricultural Review. I am a published author of two children's books_: Go for it_ by Oxford University Press (2001) and Madigolo Goes to School by Longhorn Publishers (2006).

I worked at Longhorn Publishers from June 2002 to July 2021 as an Editorial Assistant Humanities, Humanities Editor, Senior Editor Humanities, Senior Editor Humanities and Sciences, Chief Editor Humanities and atlases, Editorial Manager and Head of Publishing. I oversaw books projects for Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, Zambia and Malawi.

I am versatile and can write and edit basic content across many disciplines. I am not a conventional 8 to 5 person but can work overnight. I have a very strong bias to education, publishing and media especially on coverage and framing. I am fluent in English, Kiswahili and Ekegusii. I am above average in creativity and can write fiction in prose and verse apart from writing features and profiles.
