Monica Pigrau

I help Web3 teams build secure, scalable, and production-ready decentralized applications by combining smart contract development with modern Web3 frontend engineering. My goal is to design systems that are reliable, maintainable, and easy to use, without sacrificing security or long-term flexibility.

I come from a strong frontend software engineering background, with over four years of experience building real-world applications using React and TypeScript. Working in production environments taught me how to think beyond UI, focusing on system design, performance, testing, and long-term maintainability. This background allows me to bridge the gap between on-chain logic and user-facing products, ensuring both sides work together smoothly.

My specialization is smart contract development in Solidity, with a strong focus on testing and security. I design, develop, and test contracts using Foundry, applying solid architecture principles and well-known design patterns to reduce risk and prevent common vulnerabilities. I aim to write clean, readable, and audit-ready code that can evolve safely as protocols grow and requirements change.

On the frontend side, I build Web3 interfaces using React, TypeScript, and common Web3 tooling to interact with smart contracts in a clear and reliable way. I pay special attention to usability and accessibility, making complex blockchain systems understandable for end users while keeping critical on-chain concepts transparent.

I work with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility. I value clear communication, transparency, and direct feedback, and I’m comfortable taking end-to-end ownership of features, from initial design to testing and delivery. I follow a “never stop learning” mindset and consistently invest time in deepening my knowledge of blockchain security, protocol design, and decentralized systems.

I’m particularly motivated by building systems that give individuals real ownership over their assets and data, without unnecessary dependence on centralized intermediaries. For me, blockchain is not about hype or short-term trends, but about creating resilient, verifiable systems that can be trusted and used at scale.
