Monica Moreno

My knowledge is targeted, but not limited to, marketing and digital media. I attended Sierra Nevada University in Lake Tahoe, Nevada where I studied marketing and digital art. I am HubSpot certified in Inbound Marketing and Social Media Marketing. Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite and Power Point. Adobe programs I am most comfortable with are Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Lightroom and AfterEffects. I am a drone hobbyist - I have my own DJI aircraft and have completed a drone operating course. I approach marketing tasks with a creative mindset, stretching the boundaries of marketing and digital storytelling. Most recently, I have worked with a local non-profit to create educational video content for their social media platforms and also a local tattoo shop to create fun flashy content for social media platforms.

My work experience is unique and diverse. I have been a licensed massage therapist for the past 10 years. I have worked at spas and resorts, gaining experience in management, hospitality and customer service.

Before the COVID19 pandemic, I was the lead massage therapist and assistant manager at a resort in South Lake Tahoe, California. I also have a small amazon business of my own - so the whole amazon platform is something I have a great deal of knowledge in.

Before moving to Tahoe to complete my BA I was a personal assistant for a recording studio owner in West Hollywood, California. This job provided me with an immense amount of experience. I maintained daily schedules and managed employees. I coordinated with vendors and stylists on projects ranging from landscape to graphic design. My job entailed being a liaison between my employer and employees/clients to ensure optimal use of his time. Contributed in marketing strategy for the recording studio.Developed new filing and organizational practices for personal and business files along with archiving photography.

I believe all of my educational and work experience has equipped me with the right tools to work independently, productively and creatively. I am an outside of the box thinker and am proud of the work I do. I meet deadlines and am honest with myself regarding my capabilities. I am a passionate person and have high energy. Not only am I a great independent worker but a great attribute to any team.
