My name is Mohammed Shihad, and I am a committed and enthusiastic Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) student with a strong desire to build a stable and meaningful career through continuous learning, discipline, and practical experience. I believe that a combination of academic knowledge, real-world exposure, and skill development is essential for professional growth in today’s competitive environment.

Currently, I am pursuing my undergraduate studies in Commerce, where I am gaining a solid understanding of core subjects such as accounting, business management, economics, finance, and organizational behavior. My academic journey has helped me develop analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and a structured approach toward work. I take my studies seriously and consistently aim to improve both my theoretical understanding and practical application of concepts.

To complement my academic learning, I have actively participated in internship programs that provided valuable exposure to real organizational settings. I completed an internship at Salisbury INDCOSERVE Tea Factory, Gudalur, Nilgiris, where I was introduced to industrial operations, administrative procedures, record maintenance, and coordination among departments. This experience helped me understand how large-scale organizations function and the importance of teamwork, time management, and accuracy in professional work.

In addition, I completed another internship at the Nilgiri Cooperative Plantation Workers Thrift and Credit Society, where I gained insights into cooperative society operations, basic accounting practices, documentation work, and customer-related processes. This internship enhanced my understanding of financial discipline, ethical responsibility, and the role of cooperative institutions in supporting community development. Both internships played a significant role in shaping my professional mindset and improving my confidence in handling responsibilities.

Along with academic and internship experience, I have developed practical skills that are relevant in both offline and online work environments. I am confident in typing and data entry, and I have basic working knowledge of MS Excel, Canva designing, poster creation, and simple translation tasks. I am comfortable working on both personal computers and mobile devices, and I am capable of dedicating focused time to assigned tasks. I am more effective in written communication and task-oriented work, which allows me to maintain accuracy and consistency.

My career goal is to become financially independent while continuously enhancing my professional skills. I am particularly interested in opportunities that align with my commerce background and digital abilities, including internships, entry-level roles, and freelance or online work.
