Mohammed A. Tarabay

I am Mohammed Tarabay, an Artificial Intelligence Engineering student passionate about integrating AI with real-world applications. My journey in AI is driven by a deep curiosity to solve complex problems using technology, particularly in robotics, embedded systems, and autonomous solutions.

As the Founder and Team President of the Connectors Team, I lead a group of over 60 students in developing AI-driven innovations. I also established Octware, a student initiative focused on AI and Data Science, empowering students to explore and build impactful projects. Beyond technical expertise, I actively engage in entrepreneurship, serving as the PR/FR Director for Hult Prize Mansoura University and previously holding leadership roles in Startup Grind and the Entrepreneurship Rally Mansoura University Society.

One of my most notable projects is Job Harvest, an AI-powered job search platform that aggregates listings from multiple job portals into a unified interface. This platform leverages web scraping, NLP (T5-based models), and Google Translate to enhance bilingual support and personalized recommendations. I aim to integrate a Recommender System in future updates to improve job matching accuracy.

Additionally, I have worked on a sleep apnea detection project, combining AI and biomedical engineering to develop a solution for early diagnosis. My expertise also extends to self-driving technology, as I am currently building a roadmap for autonomous vehicles, exploring advanced perception, control, and decision-making techniques.

Beyond my technical and leadership roles, I am committed to continuous learning and innovation. I enjoy exploring new AI trends, collaborating with like-minded individuals, and applying my knowledge to real-world challenges. My ultimate goal is to contribute to cutting-edge AI developments, particularly in autonomous systems and robotics, while fostering an ecosystem where AI is accessible and impactful.
