FOREIGN TRAINING
-At Walnut Creek, California, U.S.A., for 30 days, marketing and applications training
related to Gas Chromatography and HPLCs at Varian Instrument Division Factory at
Walnut Creek. Participants from the Far East and South attended the training
America and the U.S.A. and was designed to make us proficient in positioning our products to the customers and making us technically aware of various challenges involved in marketing such as Equipment.
-One week training at Pittsburgh, RIDC Park, Allegheny Valley at Extrel Instruments now a part of ABB group in the field of Mass Spectrometry and its Customer related
applications and sales. The training comprised of demonstrations of various Equipment
being manufactured there at the Factory and their Sales and application related
the information which was given to me by its various Product Managers in individual
sessions.
-One Week Sales and Marketing Seminar in France at Nice and Paris at Riber S.A., a
manufacturer of M.B.E. (Molecular Beam Epitaxy) and C.B.E. (Chemical Beam Epitaxy)
Machines which are used to produce Silicon. Germanium, Semiconductor, or Super
conductor Wafers which are subsequently used in the manufacturing of Integrated
Circuits (Chips as they are known). The training involved practical demonstrations,
quizzes, lectures, and case studies.
