Mohammad Ashraf Hossain

I am Ashraf, In my 17 years career in software development, I spent almost 9 years in Developing GIS, Mapping related product (https://maps.afrigis.co.za/).

In this project I worked in Graph Generation, Navigation Engine, Rendering Engine and small scale spatial search engine. Especially in Navigation Engine I worked in traffic sensitive navigation, multimodal navigation and partially in offline navigation.

Beside that I participated 2 times in Google Summer of Code under OSGeo.

At 2021 In Google Summer of Code I am playing role and mentor in pgRouting.

I worked in GDAL/OGR library as bug fixer and some feature up gradation.

Later I worked in a VOIP based soft phone product, I enjoyed the extensive network programming.

Right now I work in my organization, though 60% time I work on product design, marketing strategy and product strategy. But 40% time I still code. In this organization I code in the Enterprise System integration module (With Oracle EBS, SAP or conventional ERP).
