Mohammad Ali Fatehchehr

I am a passionate and experienced IT professional with over seven years of hands-on experience in DevOps, system administration, and software development. My journey started in network monitoring and software development, and gradually evolved into DevOps engineering, where I found my true passion for automation, optimization, and continuous improvement.

Throughout my career, I have worked in dynamic environments across several tech companies. I contributed to building and improving CI/CD pipelines, deploying monitoring solutions, and supporting development teams to release faster and more reliably. Most recently, I worked at Irancell MTN, one of the largest telecom operators in Iran, where I helped streamline deployments and improve system monitoring for over 50 team members using tools like GitLab and the ELK stack.

Before that, I worked in companies such as FanapTelecom, Iranicard, and Shaparak, where I managed Linux-based systems, containerized applications with Docker, and migrated legacy workflows to modern CI/CD systems. I also had the opportunity to lead training sessions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and audit DevOps practices for security and efficiency improvements.

I hold a Master’s degree in Information Technology and several certifications in DevOps, security, and networking. Currently, I am based in Birmingham, UK, actively enhancing my skills in cloud technologies such as AWS and infrastructure as code with Terraform. I recently achieved an IELTS score of 5.5 and continue to improve my English communication skills to integrate into international teams better.

What sets me apart is my commitment to learning and adapting. Whether it’s mastering a new tool or supporting a team during tight deadlines, I always bring a proactive and reliable mindset. My goal is to contribute to innovative teams where I can both share my expertise and grow professionally.
