Hi, I'm Mohamed Jafer—a dedicated and curious software developer with over two years of experience in building robust backend systems using Java and Spring Boot. My journey in tech started with a deep fascination for how things work behind the scenes. That curiosity soon turned into a passion for solving real-world problems through clean code, smart architecture, and constant learning.
I specialize in backend development, particularly with Java-based ecosystems. From building scalable microservices to integrating third-party APIs and optimizing SQL queries, I enjoy working on systems that need to be fast, reliable, and efficient. At Vamosys, I’ve had the chance to lead and contribute to multiple impactful projects like GPSVTS, BizMagnets, and FleetOS—each of which taught me something new and helped shape my problem-solving mindset.
One of my favorite challenges was developing a real-time chat system integrated with the WhatsApp Business API, where I got to explore WebSockets, Spring MVC, and Redis for message handling. I’ve also worked on improving GPS tracking accuracy, streamlining trip/fuel management, and creating flexible integration layers using microservices—all while keeping performance and scalability in mind.
I enjoy taking ownership of my work, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and constantly pushing myself to write better, more efficient code. I believe that being a great developer isn’t just about knowing a bunch of tools or frameworks—it’s about having the discipline to learn, the creativity to solve problems, and the humility to grow from feedback.
Outside of coding, I’m always exploring new technologies, solving problems on LeetCode, and keeping an eye on how the tech world is evolving. I also love anime (huge One Piece fan!), sci-fi movies, and casual coding sessions with some good lo-fi music in the background.
If you're looking for someone who can bring both technical depth and creative thinking to backend development, I'm your guy. Let’s build something awesome!
