Mofizul Islam

I’m Mofizul Islam, a Senior WordPress Developer from Dhaka, Bangladesh, with over 14 years of experience building custom WordPress websites, plugins, and full-stack solutions for clients around the world.

I started my career in 2011 and worked with VSSL Agency from 2016 to 2020, where I built more than 60 WordPress websites for clients in the US and Canada. My work there included developing custom plugins, optimizing site speed, and maintaining large-scale WordPress systems for marketing campaigns and enterprise clients.

Since 2020, I’ve been working remotely with clients and agencies from Singapore, the US, the UK, and Australia, delivering everything from business websites to complex web applications. Some of my recent projects include:

• Word Counter Plus – WordPress.org-approved plugin. I created this plugin out of personal interest to contribute to the WordPress community. It helps authors easily track word counts in the admin post list.
• Review Discount for WooCommerce – CodeCanyon approved plugin. I built this plugin from scratch, handling both backend and frontend development. It rewards customers with discounts when they submit verified product reviews.
• Wine Vendor for WooCommerce – GitHub repository. Developed as a WooCommerce helper plugin during my time at IOVISION, where I managed the full development process from concept to testing.

I’m skilled in PHP, OOP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, React.js, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, Gutenberg block development, Git/GitHub, and CI/CD workflows. I also focus on SEO optimization, UI design, and performance improvements using tools like WP Rocket, WebP, and lazy loading techniques.

For design work, I use Figma, Canva, and Photoshop to craft user-friendly interfaces before converting them into responsive WordPress sites. My daily development tools include PHPStorm, GitHub, and Trello, and I’m comfortable working with hosting environments like WP Engine, SiteGround, and Bluehost.

I’m passionate about creating clean, fast, and functional websites that make clients’ ideas come to life.
