I carried with me some tasks like handling the consolidated financials on monthly basis yet I was introduced to new challenges like budget preparation and actual performance analyzing in comparison with the budget in a quarterly basis. I also controlled the group cash position by maintaining a healthy cash balance, managing working capital facilities and discovering all the potentials to invest the excess cash. Being SAP super user has also led me to handling all the support of FICO Modules day to day incidents and help in building new functions in the system by gathering requirements and working with the functional and technical leads and by testing new functions until the new functions of the system were understood by the team. In my work I had periodical tasks of preparing consolidated and standalone financials, controlling the credit limit for our customers, releasing the salaries, handling social security and tax payment, review the GL accounts to make sure of the data integrity but what I wanted the most is living in the future of financial analysis and forecasts a future we worked on realizing through building our set of policies and procedures, this also brought me to my first experience of decision making based on the cash flow forecasts. I build big decisions that were made on how to overcome any liquidity issue in addition to the cash conversion cycle analysis on quarterly basis.
