Graduate Engineer
During a project's design phase, a graduate engineer assists with the design of foundation elements, columns,
girders, beams, joists, and slabs. They evaluate lateral wind and seismic loads and their effects on both the
building structure and its cladding. During a project's construction phase, they assist with shop drawing review,
respond to RFIs, and conduct project observations.
Projects:
McKinney Stadium
This project is in construction phase so I am assisting in reviewing RFI's and submittals relating to cast in place
concrete, structural steel, precast concrete, precast deck, pier, grade beam, walls, raker beams, Structural Steel
Framing Joists and Decking, Exterior Athletic Lighting etc.
The University of Texas at Arlington - Science and Engineering Innovation and Research Building
The University of Texas at Arlington proposed to construct a new Science and Engineering Innovation and
Research Building. The GSF value of the new Science and Engineering Innovation and Research Building is about
to be 200,000 gross square feet.
During the design phase I assisted in designing slabs using inbuilt spreadsheets and SpSlab software. Helped in
scheduling beam and slab reinforcements in the plans using Autodesk Revit software.
The University of Texas at Permian Basin
Assisted in designing base plate using Hilti profis software and inbuild spreadsheets. Worked on the structural
model in Bentley's RAM structural systems software regarding the changes in loading and dimension during the
design phase.
UNTD Student learning & Success Center
In the design phase I assisted in the design and scheduling of beams and purlins.
UNT Dorm Jacobs
Assisted in the design of grade beams and elevated beams, Post tensioned slabs and beams using ADAPT-Builders
software , Piers, Columns and the effect of lateral forces i.e. wind and seismic on the building structure.
UTA Garage
Assisted in the design of grade beams, piers, columns, 1 way and 2 way slabs, roof deck, bollard base plates and
anchors. Evaluated the effects of lateral wind forces on the building structure.
Grady Spruce High School
Assisted in the design of grade beams and piers. Worked on the structural model in Bentley's RAM structural
systems software.
