Mirkomil Mirrakhimov

I am a science and innovation management professional with a strong background in applied mathematics, information technologies, and the digitalization of scientific and innovative activities. I currently work at the Scientific and Technical Information Center under the Agency for Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, where I focus on analyzing scientific and innovation processes, managing digital platforms, and supporting institutional development.

I have managed and coordinated more than five major projects aimed at the digital transformation of scientific and innovative activities, including innoweek.uz, id.ilmiy.uz, internship.ilmiy.uz, nsp.gov.uz, ias.gov.uz, and slab.gov.uz. These platforms were developed to centralize scientific data, improve transparency, enhance collaboration between institutions, and strengthen the national innovation ecosystem. My responsibilities included project planning, preparation of technical documentation, coordination with developer teams, system administration, cybersecurity monitoring, performance optimization, and reporting.

I served as a Project Manager in an ORCID-funded project, where I was responsible for overall coordination, planning, task distribution, and ensuring successful implementation of project objectives. In addition, I worked as a Project Assistant to the Project Leader in a World Bank-funded project, supporting project implementation, preparing analytical and technical documents, assisting in reporting, and participating in procurement and coordination processes.

Currently, I am also actively involved in tender and procurement activities, including preparing technical specifications, supporting tender documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

I hold international IT certificates obtained in South Korea, China, and Turkey, and I am certified in Project Management by PMI, which strengthens my structured and results-oriented approach to managing projects.

My key competencies include digitalization of scientific activities, project management, development and administration of information systems, procurement support, technical documentation, cybersecurity monitoring, and teamwork. I combine analytical thinking, IT expertise, and leadership skills to contribute effectively to the modernization of scientific infrastructure and innovation management in Uzbekistan.
