Manages an assigned portfolio of borrowers with the ultimate objective of reaching the assigned budget.
Supports the efficient and quick lending process initiated by the branches and regions by ensuring timely response to clients, in order to contribute efficiently in the promotion of the credit services and products offered by the Bank.
Prepares the bank standard credit presentation and provides a quality credit analysis and assessment, spreads and analyzes financial statements and cash flow analysis and submits an independent comment on the credit and financial standing of the borrowers (existing and new).
Coordinates with the branch managers and regional managers for obtaining timely from the clients the necessary information and documentation required for the adequate and quality preparation of the credit files prior to its expiry (as applicable), and maintains necessary follow-ups.
Ensures operating in compliance to the Credit Policy of the Bank and the implementation of all procedures and circulars issued by the Bank and regulatory authorities (Central Bank/BCC) in relation to Credit Risk, administration and any related credit functions.
Visits clients' premises and meets with borrowers' management in order to prepare a quality credit presentation, improve customer service and cross-sell the Bank's products and services.
Maintain regular monitoring of the performance of the portfolio by following up on utilization of outstanding limits, follow-up on any unpaid to detect any warning signals and report it to the Head of Unit, Credit Manager and the respective credit committee.
Responsible for the completion, organizing and culling of the credit file in line with the BCC 238 Circular and completion of the BCC 238 Checklist and following up with branches or directly with clients, on any of its missing items and timely receipt.
Ensure timely monthly reviews of assigned files with no backlog of overdue reviews.
Ensure follow up on the covenants and special clauses required by the Credit Committee and report any discrepancies with recommended action to be taken, based on RCAC reports.
Monthly monitoring of the CDR and reporting to the Credit Manager and the respective Credit committee level in case of any noticed discrepancies/ increase in the client's exposure/ change of collateral or status (e.g. Doubtful) with other Banks
Prepare, in advance, and recommend the approval or rejection of any additional transaction in excess of limits with the timely follow up of settlement in case of approval
Ensure follow up and timely receipt and immediate analysis of audited statements outside the date of review and report any major deterioration in the financials to the Head of Unit, Credit Manager and the respective credit committee.
Ensure timely follow up and timely receipt and immediate analysis of any missing legal or security documents or any pending issues pertaining to their assigned clients, based on the RCAC reports and provide the comments and recommended actions.
