I am a dedicated and detail oriented professional with 29 years of banking experience handling trade finance operations, managing teams and providing clients with meaningful banking experience. I worked my way up from starting as Export Clerk to retiring as Trade Finance Officer and Unit Head of Trade Servicing Unit-Davao. Almost 3 decades of work experience in the banking industry has greatly developed my skills in accuracy, adaptability, attention to details, client-servicing, compliance, confidentiality, leadership, organization, reliability and time management. I managed the trade transactions of 80plus branches in the Mindanao region, created workflows and procedures, maintained good work relationship with other internal partners in the bank and assisted export and import clients in their transactions, inquiries and special demands while being mindful of our daily turn around times per type of trade product or service. Aside from performing my regular tasks in our unit, I was also an organizer of company events like annual Christmas parties of 26 branches in Davao (about 200 plus participants) and other special events. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Rivier College then, now named Rivier University in Nashua, New Hampshire, USA. I am married and a mother to 1 boy. I am also the eldest in a sibling of 6. I love helping people, solving their problems.
This year I have transitioned into the virtual assistance industry by taking training and apprenticeship as Executive Virtual Assistant from Surge Freelancing Marketplace last March to May 2025. I obtained another training last August to September 2025 under a Real Estate Virtual Assistant role.
