SEXUAL HARASSMENT
All employees will be provided a work environment free from all forms of discrimination and harassment, including sexual
harassment. Sexual harassment refers to sexually oriented behavior that is not welcome, that is personally offensive and interferes
with our work effectiveness. All employees and non-employees conducting business in our workplace or at any other location
where company-sponsored activities occur, must refrain from engaging in sexual harassment.
DEFINITION
While it is not easy to define precisely what types of conduct could constitute sexual harassment, examples of prohibited
conduct include, but are not limited to: unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, obscene gestures,
uninvited touching of a sexual nature, sexually-related comments, displaying sexually graphic magazines, cartoons,
pictures, calendars or posters, sending sexually explicit e-mail or voice-mail and/or other verbal, visual, written or
physical conduct of a sexual nature that: 1) has the purpose or effect of creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive
working environment; or (2) has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with an individual’s work performance;
or (3) otherwise adversely affects an individual’s employment opportunities. Also prohibited is any disrespectful behavior
through insulting or degrading remarks or conduct of a sexual nature where the submission to such conduct is made either
explicitly or implicitly a term or condition of an individual's employment, submission to or rejection of such conduct by
an individual is used as the basis for employment decisions affecting such individual or such conduct has the purpose or
effect of unreasonably interfering with an individual's work performance or creating an intimidating or hostile
environment.
REPORTING HARASSMENT
All employees have a duty to report any instances of sexual harassment, whether the harassment is directed toward you
or another employee and whether committed by a manager, fellow employee, or non-employee. Employees who believe
they have been subject to sexual harassment or have witnessed conduct they believe could be considered sexual
harassment, should report the conduct immediately to their manager or Human Resources. The company will promptly
and thoroughly investigate all reports. An employee who has not received a satisfactory response within five (5) business
days after reporting any incident of perceived discrimination or harassment should contact their Director of Human
Resources.
MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Managers who observe an employee violating this policy should take immediate action to stop the misconduct. Managers
who receive a report of sexual harassment or obtain knowledge of potential sexual harassment by other means, must
immediately notify Human Resources, even if no report has been made by an employee or even if the employee reporting
the conduct has requested that no action be taken. A prompt and appropriate investigation will take place.
Managers are also responsible for ensuring that the company is free from sexual harassment even if it is committed by
individuals not employed by the company. This may include, but is not limited to: customers, vendors, independent
contractors, visitors or any other individual conducting business in the workplace. Managers aware of this harassment
are to immediately notify Human Resources so the company can appropriately respond to the situation.
CONFIDENTIALITY AND RETALIATION
It is company policy that any employee making a report or participating in the investigation of a sexual harassment claim
will not be retaliated against in any way. Reports will be promptly investigated, and confidentiality will be maintained to
the greatest degree possible, consistent with our obligation to thoroughly investigate the allegation. Employees who feel
that they have been retaliated against for reporting sexual harassment or participating in an investigation should contact
the Director of Human Resources.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
If a report of sexual harassment is found to be valid, immediate and appropriate corrective action will be taken. Employees
who violate this policy, including the provision against retaliation, will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and
including termination. This determination will be based on all the facts of the case.

4.6.3 Profiles
Picture 8 and 9. Profiles Pipelines
4.7 Conduits
The free cylindrical space through which the telecommunications cables are led is called the conduit. The materials
that form such a space, as well as the mechanical protection provided to the cables, are of great variety, strength, type
and duration. The following describes some of the materials standardized by the companies for the protection of cables.
4.7.1 PVC Conduits
The PVC conduit can be of monotubular class (monotube), which is composed of a thermoplastic material (rigid
polyvinyl chloride). Both pipes and accessories must comply with the specifications of the ICONTEC 1630 or NTC3363
standards, or in their absence, with the specifications of the NEMA TC 6 designation.
For the construction of telecommunications pipelines, rigid PVC pipes specified in accordance with the aforementioned
standards and classified in the following types shall be used:
4.7.2 DB (smooth) and TDP (double wall corrugated) Types
The following standards should be complied with: Standard NTC 1630: "for communication conduits and underground
electrical networks, plastic pipes made of rigid PVC vinyl polychloride must be used", and Standard NTC 3363: " To
cover and protect electrical and telephone conductors, corrugated, rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipes with smooth
interior should be used” They are designed to be installed directly on the ground in heavy traffic areas without concrete
coating. The minimum bend radius for PVC pipe will be 20m. In general, a tube will not allow deflections that reduce its
circular section above 5% of the respective diameter as stipulated in the designation 2422 of the ASTM.
4.8 Actions Prior the Execution of the Excavation
To start excavation in any type of area, the ground to be excavated must be completely clean. Trunks, roots, and
weeds should be removed and, in the case of grass, it should be lifted before beginning excavation.
To execute the excavation on pavement, both on roads and on platforms, asphalt or concrete cutters will be used
according to the type of pavement.
The activities to be executed by the contractor are:
a) Pavement Cutting and Demolition
• Before starting the excavation, the contractor must have the authorization of the local entities.
• The breakage of the coating must be done carefully without breaking existing materials, especially under platforms,
driveways or grass.
• The cut should be made only with special tools, pneumatic hammers or hand tools are prohibited in creating a pipeline
without having made the proper cuts in advance to maintain the geometry of existing slabs or terrains.
