EXPERIENCE
5/2015-Now: Promotions Manager at Tokyo International University (TIU)
My main functions during my stage at TIU were to promote the English program of the this private university in foreign countries, (through agent networks, PR activities, etc.). The English program was created by TIU in 2014, in order to attract more international students to their institution. My main functions in TIU were as per below:
* Suggest, coordinate and participate in marketing activities with the main purpose of promoting the E-Track Program and the Tokyo International University in international markets, aiming mainly on the ASEAN region and Central Asia region (mainly on Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and Uzbekistan).
* Attend international and national educational fairs in order to promote our program.
* Collaborate with international education agents and coordinate the end-to-end admission process of those international students who want to enroll in Tokyo International University.
* Suggest, coordinate and participate in commercial expeditions and university tours, so potential international high schools get to know our university and recommend it among their students.
While for the last two years of existence of the English program, TIU only had presence in Vietnam and Indonesia and was not able to expand its agents network to other countries, I managed to spread the promotion of the E-track program in countries such as Europe, Bangladesh or Sri Lanka where the number of students for 2016 intake was in every case more than double of the result of the two previous years accounted together.
Additionally, since my main responsibility was Indonesia, I also managed to almost double the number of students for 2016 intake compared to 2015 (from 32 to 50).
Additionally, due to my Excel knowledge (basic macro-creating, formulas, etc.) I managed to create very efficient spreadsheets and concentrate the information, as well as connect it all together in order to reduce time. I also directed a video wholly in Indonesian for this market and improve the relationship with our main agent there.
5/2014-5/2015:CRM (Clients Relationship Management) and GCC (Global Client Coverage) assistant for Institutional Global Clients of BBVA Bank in Japan. My main functions are to elaborate financial and risk reports, Global Financial Projects for our clients and manage our client database, update it and look for opportunities of Japanese companies in the Spanish or Latin American markets.
My main functions during my stage at BBVA were the management and coordination of the requests from Japanese companies subsidiaries in South America together and study the financial background of those companies to analyze the feasibility of providing those companies with credit lines, SLBC guarantees, etc.
-:Trade Officer in the Department of Design, Architecture and Fashion in the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Spain in Beijing. My main function together with my manager was to provide assistance to Spanish companies wanting to enter in the Chinese market (mainly Spanish fashion brands). For that purpose we organized and take participation in different PR activities such as fairs, conferences, etc.
Additionally and in order to cover the Spanish companies demands in our best way, we also provide personalized services such as agenda organization, market researches, organization of seminars and other related activities.
