Miguel Angel López Medina

Currently, I work as head of the business intelligence platform at Spanish public health services. I apply data mining and business intelligence to improve the control and quality of health.

I'm focused on my Ph.D. at the University of Jaen (Spain) inside the SINBAD2 researching team (Intelligent System Fuzzy Logic Based).

I have experience as a Data Analyst and BI Architect with Microsoft SQL Server (SSAS, SSRS, SSIS). Python and C# for the back_end.I received a B.Sc.in Computer Science from the University of Jaén, Spain and M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Cordoba, Spain, in 2006 and 2016, respectively. I'm working in the Andalusia Health Service as a Health Data Analyst Engineer since 2011 and BI platform administrator for Inditex since 2017 (La Coruña, Spain). My research interest is the focus on intelligence systems, machine learning, fuzzy logic, and big data.
