CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Independent Contractor at UPWORK (August 2012 – Present) https://www.upwork.com/fl/michelles71
Internet Marketing/Link Building: I was responsible for marketing a scholarship program to
colleges and universities in the USA. My job was to search for the right person to send the letters
to and secure inbound links (not spammy though). I used to assist my previous client with email
marketing by promoting his scholarship program to schools that have websites to get links for
ranking purposes.
Blog Posting/WordPress: I used to manage my client's blog posts which involve adding images
to the blog posts. This means browsing for images, cropping and importing the images, and
formatting the blog posts on WordPress. My job is to simply make the blog looks professional
and up to date. As we all say great article is what builds links. So that is what this project is all
about – cleaning up blogs, and making the articles look better – primarily by adding pictures, but
also reformatting the posts when needed.
Researching: I was working with my curriculum developer for various research assignments like
what reference materials should be included in the curriculum outlines. I have excellent
researching skills and my experience has taught me that without research, a project is far less
effective.
