Everyone has a unique story to tell and I help ensure those stories stand out from the crowd. That stems from me having to tell my story repeatedly throughout my professional life. I started out in broadcasting back when radio was still a healthy medium. As a young, green as a cucumber reporter, I was fortunate enough to cover athletes like Michael Jordan and Walter Payton. Growing up in Chicago, I loved covering my favorite teams, with the exception of the White Sox. I have been a diehard Cubs fan since my first breath.

After many wonderful years in my hometown, my family and I moved to Dallas after I was named the pregame/postgame host on the Texas Rangers Radio Network. When it wasn't baseball season, I hosted a general sports-talk show on KRLD. For the most part, I had to promote myself which meant I was the guy meeting with potential advertisers. I quickly learned how to establish a high level of trust by truly getting to know them as individuals. They all had different headaches that kept them up at night and I created solutions through empathetic listening. I put myself in their shoes.

After four seasons, CBS Radio was hemorrhaging money and opted to shed several contracts. Mine was one of them. In the years that followed, I worked in political communications, sales, and public relations. While in politics, I became particularly adept at crisis management, since crises came on a daily basis. I also created a coordinated communications strategy that was utilized by multiple successful candidates. This resulted in consistent messaging and a sense of camaraderie among the various campaigns. I wrote speeches that were delivered at the State Convention and arranged media events.

I have developed a passion for helping others realize their goals and ambitions. While working with a family-owned consumer goods business, I booked their Director of Marketing on 11 television shows throughout the country, resulting in increased sales and brand awareness. I also arranged partnerships with influencers who could get their products in front of their desired core demographic. Also, while working with a children's book author, I scheduled multiple interviews and school assemblies for her. She saw her book sales increase and established herself as an expert on traveling with children.

Having been a member of the media for many years, I understand how to form productive relationships with journalists. They aren't sitting at their desks waiting to hear from folks like me. To gain their attention and interest, I must give them something unique and newsworthy. I know how to accomplish that as evidenced by my previous successes.
