HIGHLIGHTS
Have an excellent understanding and working knowledge of all elements in a
telecommunications system.
Unmatched combination of business and technical skills.
Solid background in telecom, ICT and networking.
For theoretical and practical training, I continually research the Internet,
Standardisation bodies, Vendor documentation, etc; to ensure the content is
current, accurate and understandable.
Eighty percent of training is practice oriented, i.e. high percentage of course
delivery is spent on operation, configuration and troubleshooting of actual
systems, thus I have to spend time on test systems to ensure I can meet the
training objectives, plus provide solutions to any problems/issues that may arise.
For every day of practical training I spend double the time in the test-lab, to
ensure I have an adequate amount of experience on systems relative to
students/engineers. Essentially 50% of my time is spent on system testing! So I
am more than just a facilitator when I have filled these roles, which equates to a
lot of hands-on system experience.
