OBJECTIVE
To obtain a development position that will enable me to maximize my abilities in a fun, challenging and
innovative environment.
EMPLOYMENT
For the past 8 years (2010 - Present) I have been at R/GA, starting off as a F
reelance Open Standards
Developer and working my way to a Senior Software Engineer. I have helped guide junior and associate
engineers to deliver project launches. Some of my day-to-day responsibilities include, but not limited to:
architecture and development, communicating with designers, producers and clients to deliver the final
product. More recently I have been involved in scoping of work, resource management and project timelines. I
have created immersive progressive web applications for a variety of different clients, such as Samsung,
Mercedes, Equinox, Verizon and Converse.

- A custom audio tool built into Contentful that allows authors to add, edit and tag classes. The tagged audio
files is outputted as JSON and is then consumed by the Equinox iOS app to show class list views and data
visualizations.
- The audio tool was originally built as a standalone website. However I took it a step further and embedded it
as a UI extension so all content is contained within Contentful CMS platform.

Samsung Fresh Ink h

- A web app that shows off the capabilities of the Note 8’s S Pen and allows people to create their own
designs and customize them with a variety of different colors and brushes.
- Utilizes modern Web API’s such as pointer events to calculate pressure, tilt, providing a precise drawing
experience on a canvas element.

Mercedes - Socially Driven h

- A microsite built around Mercedes Socially Driven campaign, that would create a slideshow of images from
Instagram based on your city’s location.
- The user would enter their location and using Instagram’s API and Google Maps API returns photos within
the specific latitude and longitude. An API request would be made that triggers an AWS lambda function to
stitch the photos together and creates a video using ffmpeg executable. This customizable slideshow would
then be shared to Facebook and/or Instagram with the user’s permission.
- A moderation tool was built to display all the entries stored in a DynamoDB, for a moderator to show or hide
the submitted entries on the main site.

- A site built explaining Google’s dedication to keeping your data private and updated security.
- The entire site is built within the Goro infrastructure and the frontend is built in Angular.
- All animations were done by using Bodymovin plugin, which was integrated as an Angular plugin for better
usability across the site.

Converse
- A complete redesign prototype for Converse’s website including a living styleguide based on atomic design.
- As a head developer on this project I gave tasks to fellow colleagues on what components to develop.
- Created a custom build script using Apache and Yahoo that would concatenate, minify and compile
JavaScript and CSS. This was before there were build tools (Gulp, Grunt, Webpack, etc…)

Verizon
- Primarily worked on the Verizon Telecom and Wireless teams.
- I improved the Verizon OLA email program by introducing the use of CSS as opposed to using solely
images. This was a collaboration with production and visual disciplines.
- I was also part of the redesign of My Verizon, which involvement with .NET backend systems and creating
reusable components with CSS and JavaScript.
