Michael Devine

I have been in the customer service industry for over 15 years starting as an employee of my fathers window cleaning company at 15 years old. Either attending college or working for my father until 21 years old. At 21, I graduated college with a B.A. in Economics and Business and got my first professional baseball job. Playing for 11 years, the first 9 were spent balancing an off-season job as a Caddy at a private golf club and my training to be an athlete. As an athlete without an agent for most of my career, I had to market myself, not only with my play, but by being a positive influence for teammates and fans as well. My experience as an Independent Life Insurance Broker further sharpened my marketing and customer service skills as you are responsible for everything from customer acquisition to completing the sale on your own. It also allowed me the opportunity to help people through a series of fact-finding questions in order to figure out how to best help the client.
