For the past 7 years I have been a Teacher and acted as a network administrator. In addition, I started my software developed role in the year tel:2020.

As a teacher, I prepared and conducted mathematics and information and communication technology lessons. Managing and testing pupils was facilitated by my knowledge of Latex, as a result, slides presentations, assignments and tests were we made available through the use of latex.

As a network administrator, I configured and monitored ICT network components and setup new users accounts and profiles and deal with password issues, etc.

For the student information and report management system, I used Python, Django, HTML5, JavaScript and Postgresql. It was developed from June tel:2020 to August tel:2023.

For the mobile and web application, I was hired as a consultant by ICAP eSwatini in collaboration with the funding from the United States Government and the Epidemiology and Disease Control Unit (EDCU) to develop a Mobile and Web Hybrid Application that will be used in Ports of Entry in Eswatini; to strengthen electronic health surveillance data systems. I assumed the role of a project manager while efficiently delegating the rest of the work (technical and analysis).

The primary objective of the assignment was to design, develop, prototype, and implement a hybrid web application for use by officers at the port of entry. The application may also be downloaded and used for self-screening by travellers. I was able to communicate and work cross functionality with all stakeholders to review the application standards, infrastructure requirement and security benchmarking. My duties were to:

• Develop a Hybrid Mobile/ Web Application

• Work with informatics team from Ministry of Health and ICAP to build an application that could be interfaced with passport readers

• Gather requirements specifications and produce prototypes

• Interact with various business users, present the prototypes, explain the visually designed prototype, and obtain sign off on the designs

• Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility

• Develop UI prototype to illustrate all details of user interaction with the system

• Test, debug and improve application optimization for better performance

• Deploy and test the completed application in EDCU servers

• Post release, monitor application performance, analysis, gather feedback, benchmark, re-design, release and manage the life cycle of the mobile/ web application

• Produce documentation for requirement specification, design prototypes, sign offs, source code, user manual and release management

• Provide updates and frequently share knowledge with the team members and colleagues on the development.
