As part of an IT field team during my engagement at Nairobi Water Company, I applied myself to activities and site visits where I also gathered skills on maneuvering electrical ● ● ● ● ● ● circuits and networks, workshop practice, electrical machines, computer network configuration, networking and cabling, My capacity in task management was built as I worked at the Communication Authority of Kenya. I was responsible for following up on service providers, ensuring their compliance as well as measuring their data to ensure provision of dependable network coverage and adherence to their varied mandates for ICT integrity, I developed steady and reliable skills in emergency preparedness and management during my exposure to the operation and maintenance department at the Kenya Power and Lighting Company. There I dealt with underground and overhead cable maintenance, finding faults and power cable termination for new consumers. Similarly at the Design and Construction department where I was part of breakdown team that handled consumer emergencies, meter placement and last mile connections, I gained applicable knowledge in project management via SAPworking at Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation(REREC)in the construction department as I dealt with attaching budget approvals, professional opinions and Engineering drawings to approved projects for Transformer installation, pole erection and wide electricity connection to rural areas, I am self-driven; in that I expose myself to situations that provide learning experiences for me as well as a chance to positively impact the society I am placed in at any given time. I am a trainer of children and youths on robotics to equip them with skills such as EV3 mindstorm and NXT to inculcate the growing robotics field into their functions so that they remain relevant in the changing global market for services. I have an acquired skill in Google workspace, working with Google docs, Google sheets, Google forms and Google slides that aid me in effectively and timely handling of tasks. ● I have gained the skills of a Sales Engineer in East African Cables as a sales engineer trainee as I got to deal with both corporate EPCs and Individuals such as contractors and technicians. ● In Megawatt Energies ltd I work as the Technical Sales Engineer where I give technical support to both my team and clients. I also actively take part in lead generation and sales since it’s my forte.
