Melvin Witte

I am a Computer Science student currently enrolled in my Masters degree. During my Bachelor at the Hasso Plattner Institute, I learned about writing clean, efficient code, test driven development, working in large agile teams, building haptic products, software design patterns and paradigms and efficient communication. Basically everything you need as a software developer. Currently I focus my studies on data analysis, machine learning and distributed systems. I worked with several programming languages and learned to adapt the paradigms I learned between those.

During my work as a research assisstant I learned independet, self-organized work, writing scientific articles and delivering in a timely manner. I worked on diverse topics, including 3d-printing, laser cutting, blockchains, network simulators and svg manipulation.

During my work as a working student and later freelancer I built and worked on DevOps pipelines, worked with low level devices and automated deployment with Ansible, packer, AWS, CircleCI and Terraform.

In my freetime, I am playing performance oriented volleyball in the 3rd german Bundesliga. Being part of a team like that proves that I can work goal oriented, efficient and with a diversity of people.
