EVERYONE IS ENTITLED TO BEAUTY
Have you ever looked at someone and admired their beauty, and thought you wish you looked that way, too? I’m sure we’ve all gone through (and still do) a certain point in our lives when we did think that. They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but no one tells you this – that beholder should primarily be you, yourself. How you look at yourself will affect how you look at others, so looking at yourself as an ugly duckling will always make you see the swan in others. We are all so lucky, however that nature has been giving us all that we need to be beautiful, inside and out and we either just don’t know it or ignore them totally. Since majority will look at us on the outside, beauty is primarily looked and seen on our skin, and since the skin is our largest organ, and our first line of defense from harmful elements and judging eyes. So for everyone’s benefit, we’re sharing ten beauty hacks we all (should) need, know, and to do as much as possible to achieve that beautiful radiant skin.
WHERE’S MY WATER
Beauty hack #1, and probably the most important beauty hack is to always keep yourselves hydrated. Hydration is important, since water is our main fuel. It plays a major factor in digestion – where our bodies transfer the nutrients all the way to our cells, therefore making it shown on our skin, therefore a well hydrated body will not only let the people see our wonderful complexion, but it will also show in our performance as well, since our brains are also very dependent on hydration.
YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT
Beauty hack #2 is diet. Even though there are a lot of factors affecting skin health, what we eat plays a big factor for our skin to appear healthy since most nutrients we get are mostly from the food we eat. Everything from antioxidants to Vitamin E, name it, then eat it.
I’D LIKE TO MOVE IT, MOVE IT!
Being hydrated and a couch potato at the same time still won’t add up to a beautiful, healthier you, so we’re going with beauty hack #3, exercise. Exercising will also have great benefits to how we look and feel so make sure to stay active!
DON’T PANIC, IT’S ORGANIC
A lot of organic beauty products are now available in the market. If on a tight budget, you can go to your local supermarket and buy great alternatives for skin care that are normally sold in other stores as concoctions of various chemicals. Skin applications, food supplements and make up all have organic variations available and ready to purchase. Remember, we are organic, so organic is the way to go when applying beauty products on our skin.
STEAMPUNK
To get these little pores of ours open and spit out the impurities on our skin, try a healthy dose of steaming. Going to the sauna or having a steam bath right after working out is perfect since our pores will be quite exposed to the steam coming in flushing out the impurities.
ICE ICE BABY
The best way to further relax is to apply ice on our face right after that wonderful steam bath. If steam opens up the pores, ice closes the pores to keep dirt out of the skin. Ice also helps with minimizing those swells or skin breakouts so it would be best to give this a try.
TURMERIC DOES THE TRICK
A strong antioxidant, turmeric has been used for skin care since the ancient times because of its healing properties.
OH HONEY, HONEY
Coming from our little bee friends, applying honey on our skin proves to be beneficial due to its antioxidant properties, capable of healing scars and cleansing our skin of dead skin cells
C’MON LEMON
Lemon is also great for skin care since it is antiseptic, so it is an excellent means of relief, if not remedy for skin bacteria and fungi.
LOOSEN ME UP
Massage is not only a good countermeasure for tight muscles, but it is also beneficial for skin care since it eases our minds of stress – which plays a major part in skin aging. Less stress, younger look.
Surprised that these simple little wonders will help you achieve that beautiful skin you’ve always wanted to have or maintain? Now that you know, go ahead and give them all a try and see for yourself how beneficial these things are to your skin care.
